We are looking for an entrepreneurial, driven, and experienced Key Account Manager to join our DEVI by Danfoss team, specializing in electric heating solutions. This hybrid role is based in the Southeast, London, or East Anglia regions, with occasional visits to our Uxbridge office.
As part of our dynamic UK & European team, you will be responsible for promoting the DEVI brand of electric heating, recognized for its quality and reliability. Our division is focused on growth in outdoor applications (frost protection & snow melting) and indoor applications (electric underfloor heating & hot water temperature maintenance) in the UK. Job ResponsibilitiesYou will work with the local team to generate leads, develop opportunities, and deliver on sales targets. Building strategic partnerships will be essential, requiring motivation, professionalism, and a customer-focused approach to influence key stakeholders. Your role will involve executing a go-to-market strategy, prioritizing efforts to maximize business targets, and developing long-term opportunities within the channel with our partners.
Key responsibilities include:
Identifying and generating leads through various channels, including underfloor heating, frost protection, and snow-melt solutions in residential and commercial sectors. Preparing and delivering technical presentations and demonstrations to showcase product benefits. Collaborating with building consultants, contractors, and architects to specify projects and secure new business. Providing post-sales support and technical assistance to maintain customer satisfaction. Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key accounts and sales channel partners. Tracking sales performance, analyzing data, and preparing reports for management. Supporting locally relevant projects and working cross-functionally with the business development team. The ideal candidate is results-driven, with a passion for sales, technology, and strong customer relationships. To be successful in this role, you should have:
A bachelor’s degree in electrical/mechanical engineering or a relevant technical qualification. A proven track record (+5 years) in technical sales, preferably in electric heating or B2B sales. Experience working with building consultants, mechanical & electrical contractors, and other industry professionals. A strong understanding of the heating industry and electric heating applications. Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal. Proficiency in MS Office Suite. Ability to work independently, multitask, and thrive in a matrix organizational environment. Analytical skills to assess sales performance and market opportunities. Enthusiasm for learning about Danfoss DEVI products and technologies.
