GENERAL FUNCTION
The Key Account Manager implements and executes Apparel/Footwear/Accessors (AFA) Oakley and Costa brand sales strategies for specified Key Account customers in their assigned region. The Key Account Manager is responsible for customers with a central buying system that have AFA doors operating across multiple regions.
The Key Account Manager assists the Director of Sales, Key Accounts in building relationships with Key Account customers and growing top line sales by building brand awareness, equities, and supporting brand standards.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Supports the Director with development of new business and management of prospective Key Account customers by helping account setup. Develops sales strategies by brand to achieve goals as established by the Director. Develops and leads sales and product presentations during market; conducts monthly business reviews using company provided tools. Develops a best-in-class prebook selling program, balanced with an in-season sell in and replenishment program. Meets and exceeds weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual AFA goals (unit and $ sales, return rates) by meeting targets by brand by customer. Implements and manages assortment/planogram by brand at customer level and sets up weekly replenishment systems. Forecasts weekly sales and special projects to the Director. Provides analysis of account sales, inventory, marketing initiatives and merchandising presentations. Maintains and updates the door report to track brand distribution. Provides recaps of customer meetings with action items and follows up with required parties to ensure completion of tasks. Interfaces with Inventory Team on needs and changes to customer assortments. Analyzes launch report and open order report and interfaces with sales operations team to ensure customer shipping requirements are met. Increases retail sellout with customers by initiating and executing strategies by brand with 360 approach, utilizing marketing tools and in-store service support. Establishes merchandising program in line with direction from corporate, customized to meet customer needs. Communicates monthly store visit priorities by customer to the In-store Service Team. Builds and maintains strong working relationships and leverages brand portfolio with customers. Coordinates needs with Marketing Team, inclusive of advertised images and POP needs for customers. Leads project tracking for Marketing initiatives.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
BA/BS degree or equivalent experience 2+ years of account management, sales, or marketing experience Experienced in onsite sales presentations Broad understanding of account management and good business judgment Strong communication skills with ability to negotiate effectively at all levels within the organization as well as external customers Strong PC skills, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint Ability to self-motivate and self-manage to meet deadlines and goals Experienced in preparing sales presentations for both small and large audiencesPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in business management - sales Demonstrated track record of success in a similar role, ideally in sport apparel industry Department store account management experiencePay Range: 75,400.90 - 122,085.15
Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements.
