This role leads the pre-sales technical and quotations team for Eaton’s Data Center Power Distribution portfolio, including Power Distribution Unit (PDU), Remote Power Panel (RPP), and Static Transfer Switch (STS) products. The role also supports key customers’ 3-Phase Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) bid opportunities. **In this function you will:** + Manage presales quotation activity for Data Center Power Distribution products and assigned 3-Phase UPS projects within the division marketing organization + Guide and hold accountable inside sales engineering team for successful execution of project bids and post-order review/submittal process + Maintain thorough technical and commercial product expertise for Eaton’s PDU, RPP, STS and 9395 products and support team members’ escalations + Achieve volume and margin levels in accordance with Profit Plan through Bid Manager RFA management and large project costing analysis + Oversee team’s post-order review process, including submittal package creation and interface with Order Management & Engineering teams to facilitate prompt order scheduling + Maintain strong customer satisfaction for supported sales teams + Interface with operations teams to provide SIOP/forecasting inputs and communicate customers’ needs. + Support product line management team through technical assistance, pricing strategy/feedback, competitive review, and strategic planning inputs + Build and develop talent within direct reports team through coaching, training, and stretch assignments **Qualifications:** **Required (Basic) Qualifications:** + Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited institution. + Minimum of four (4) years of experience in the electrical industry working in operations, engineering, sales, and/or marketing roles. + Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship, now or in the future. + No relocation is available for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within 50 miles of the Raleigh, NC. facility will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area. **Preferred Qualifications:** + Master's degree in Engineering or MBA from an accredited institution. + Product and technical knowledge of data center electrical equipment applications. + Two (2) years of Leader of People experience.
