We are looking for a Key Account Manager Epilepsy & Rare Disease who is curious, committed, and passionate to change the patient journey of neuromuscular disorders for the better in Bulgaria.
About the role
As Key Account Manager Epilepsy & Rare Disease, you will play an integral role in identifying and building collaborative relationships with all relevant healthcare professional stakeholders, executing commercial strategies, and enabling access for all rare patients we can serve.
You will master brand messaging, targeting, and digital omnichannel solutions to deliver persuasive, high-impact customer experiences. It will be vital to demonstrate great commitment to the Epilepsy & Rare Disease patient community and understand the national and regional patient journey, the barriers they face in care, diagnosis, and treatment, and co-created with the community to help them overcome those barriers.
The role is field based, covering all of Bulgaria, with a focus on Sofia and Pleven.
Who you’ll work with
In this role, you will work with the wider commercial organization to develop and execute commercial strategies in your own region. Share and develop best practices from the wider UCB and within the Epilepsy & Rare Disease team.
Be a ‘first point of contact’ across Bulgaria and work closely with the Area Head, Medical Strategy Lead, MSL to create the best patient experience with UCB products.
Be proactive to share/learn and cocreate within the Eastern European Epilepsy & Rare Diseases Team innovative solutions to enable early access to company assets. Externally, you build strong external customer and stakeholder relationships within the epilepsy, rare disease and neuromuscular specialties area.
What you’ll do
Analyse and execute strategic business/account plans, bringing essential market insights to build the best customer experience journey based on country specificities of treatment of patients with rare neuromuscular disorders. Build and maintain longstanding and trustworthy relationships with the key accounts understanding the sphere of influence and networking.Utilize innovative (incl. digital) methods to identify patients and enable access to high-efficacy and safe treatments earlier.Advocate for Epilepsy & Rare Disease patients and serve as the authority on the various tools and resources UCB offers to support physicians, pharmacists, nurses, and other health care providers. Demonstrate in-depth understanding of disease and all relevant clinical data and translation into single-patient focus for dedicated referral and targeted treatments. Act as a loyal partner to Health Care professionals delivering accurate, based on robust scientific data and unbiased information.

4+ years of field-based experience in sales, account management, and/or field reimbursement in biopharmaceuticals (research-driven) within a competitive specialty market segment.Command of key medical, scientific, and healthcare concepts, data analysis, language, and practices related to neurology and rare diseases.Experience serving a variety of accounts along the patient journey – with a focus on academic centres, yet amended by community/office-based care, hospitals, and private office practices.Demonstrated ability to maximize impact of multichannel/digital tools and strategy/tactics with territory HCPs.Microsoft Office Suite.Languages: full professional proficiency in Bulgarian and in English (both writing and speaking).Are you ready to ‘go beyond’ to create value and make your mark for patients?
