Key Account Manager – Foodservice Chains Hong Kong, Macau & Taiwan maintains and expands relationships with global & regional chains customers for local markets as well as assisting in developing c-stores channels. Assigned to the named customers, the Key Account Manager is responsible for achieving sales targets and assigned objectives of the strategic accounts and channels.

The Key Account Manager represents the entire range of Company’s products in a customer menu first approach and services to the assigned customers, while leading the customer account planning cycle and ensuring alignment with customers’ needs and expectations are met and exceeded.

The Key Account Manager will be based in Hong Kong and report to the Strategic Account Director of APMEA in Foodservice.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Leads solution development efforts & market and consumer insights in a ‘menu first’ approach that best address customer needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company personnel, R&D, Marketing etc. Establishes productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts. Coordinates the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, in order to meet account performance objectives and customers’ expectations. Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned accounts Proactively leads a joint company-strategic account planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones for an one and five-year period. Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates customer needs on an ongoing basis.

ACCOUNTABILITIES AND PERFORMANCE MEASURES:

Achieves assigned sales targets in designated strategic accounts. Meets assigned expectations for profitability. Achieves strategic customers objectives defined by company management. Completes strategic customer account plans that meet company standards. Maintains high customer satisfaction ratings. Qualifications and skills

Person Specification

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 

Bachelor’s or higher Degree in Commerce or any related field Preferred at least 4 years’ relevant experience in Account Management or similar scope Strong people skill and communication skills in English & Chinese Cantonese & Mandarin (oral and written); good time management skills and collaboration abilities in working with cross-functional teams Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Experience in working in international environments is desirable

A highly motivated and results-driven individual  Strategically market analysis capabilities and through knowledge of commercial & NPD  Ability to meet deadlines, self-managed and process the ability to handle multi tasks with speed & accuracy, independently or as part of a team
