Key Account Manager - Imaging Products (Algeria, Tunisia and Sahel)
Job Purpose and Summary

Demand generation directly from end users and through partners.Engaging and managing system integrator(s) and partner(s)Industry mapping including vertical, end user(s), system integrator(s), competitor and 3rd party.Strategy discussion and planning.

Demand generation directly from end users and through partners to achieve the sales target.Establish end-user contacts and business relationships with the right representatives of the large companies and Government Organizations for major Vertical segments by countries.Establish relationship with SI / VARs and introduce Canon range of imaging products.Vertical and end user mapping identifying the various verticals existing in the country, determining weightage of each vertical segments and analysing competitors in each vertical and end user.Utilize the above study as a basis to devise local product development strategy in coordination with stake holders.Product training to system integrator and partner salesmen.Carry out demand generation activities like events & seminars.Monitor the system integrator program in the assigned territory with regular mechanism of sell out reporting.Enhance Canon’s brand awareness in the market by improving in store visibility, and development of localized POS materials.Propose and support stake holders in planning and organizing of local product launch events.

What we ask

Relevant experience with product, end user and industry knowledge in imaging industry – essential.Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar international or regional sales role (with a similar company, national distributor or trading company) – essential.Background and knowledge of market environments – essential.Relevant recognized formal qualifications (university level) - desirable.Fluency in written and spoken English and French - essential.High level of written and spoken communications – essential.Professionalism, attitude and effective communication – essential.Familiarity with MS Office applications, i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint - essential.

You will need

Excellent communication skills and requisite diplomatic/negotiation skills.Ability to communicate and relate to subjects, issues and clients at many levels.Excellent market knowledge and willingness to be “Closer to Market”.
