Key Account Manager (KAM)
Key responsibilities
The KAM is the primary individual responsible for maintaining our business as well as ensuring sustainable growth for SIG (Bag-in-Box and Spouched Pouch) in the region they operate in. They serve as the link between SIG and its primary asset, the Client. The KAM builds trusted relationships with clients, acts as an account manager for current clients, and seeks out new business and clients for SIG in the region.
The KAM possesses a broad understanding of the markets and countries we operate in, as well as our main competitors, along with deep knowledge of all areas relevant to client relationships, such as Technical Services, Marketing, Treasury, Controlling, Projects, Pre-press, Logistics, Order Processing, Contract Administration, and Sustainability. They participate in and contribute to the development of the regional (local/global) strategy, bringing market trends and needs as well as competitor information.
• Managing the financial results of each account in the region.
• Developing new clients and markets, seeking business growth in the region.
• Developing strategies and business plans for each client, ensuring the maintenance and growth of business in the region.
• Conducting feasibility analyses of new projects, ensuring increased market share and adequate financial results aligned with global objectives for the company.
• Identifying opportunities and threats in the markets in which they operate.
• Developing and managing strategies to achieve established goals (liaising with marketing, finance, services, management, and the presidency).
• Responsible for client communication (crisis management, conflicts, disputes, negotiations, agreements, etc.).
• Responsible for the development and administration of contracts and agreements between SIG and clients in the region.
You bring these skills, experience & education Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields; Advanced proficiency in English; Advanced proficiency in Spanish; Extensive experience as a sales manager in food packaging or related segments. SIG competencies
