Key Account Manager (m/w/d)

As a Key Account Manager Utility, you will be the primary contact for key clients, responsible for building and maintaining strategic partnerships in a specific country or region. This role requires a combination of industry expertise, technical understanding, and strong consultative sales skills to drive business growth. Your success will be built on deep market knowledge, trust-based relationships with decision-makers, and the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain strong, trust-based customer relationships that deliver mutual value. Understand customer expectations and requirements. Inspire stakeholders and drive meaningful change with innovative ideas that matter. Proactively identify business opportunities and provide strategic market insights. Define and implement a long-term growth strategy to unlock new revenue streams. Lead and execute account strategies aligned with customer time-to-market needs. Conduct market and competitive analysis to anticipate customer demands. Ensure outstanding customer experience by resolving inquiries, coordinating logistics, pricing, product development, and other key topics. What your background should look like: Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering; MBA is a plus. Additional qualification in electrical engineering is an advantage. Minimum 10 years of sales experience, ideally in the energy sector. Proven success in key account management and revenue growth. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Strategic mindset with strong problem-solving abilities. Solid understanding of technical complexities and energy solutions. Experience with Distribution System Operators (DSO) and TE Connectivity Energy products is a plus. Fluent in German and English. Willingness to travel and flexibility in work schedule. Self-motivated, analytical, and highly organized in a fast-paced environment.
