Key Account Manager - Solid Tumors
Job Description The role of the Key Account Manager - Solid Tumors is a vital contributor to our newly established Solid Tumors team. Showcasing extensive sales experience in the field of Oncology, to achieve targets through the successful execution of commercial activities. The Key Account Manager is responsible for identifying key accounts, developing stakeholder engagement strategies, maintaining relationships, building strategic partnerships, and providing market insights. The role requires a strong understanding of market dynamics, effective objection handling, and the ability to differentiate AbbVie's value proposition in the Oncology field. Key Responsibilities: + Identify all key accounts and create a stakeholder engagement plan in accordance with the Brand Strategy. + Create and implement strategic account plans, identifying opportunities for growth within designated key accounts. + Track and report on key account metrics, analyzing performance against targets and adapting strategy as required. + Maintain and develop current assigned key accounts through effective customer relationship management. + Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions to enhance client satisfaction and drive business success. + Build strategic and trusted long-term partnerships with external stakeholders. + Work closely with cross-functional teams including aligning initiatives with business needs. + Stay informed about industry trends, understand market dynamics and adjust activities accordingly. + Combine competitive intelligence and market insights to provide a comprehensive view of the market landscape to equip business with the knowledge needed to anticipate changes, align strategies with market demands, and implement actions that enhance competitiveness and drive growth. + Effectively manage objections to protect existing business relationships but also enhance client trust, paving the way for future opportunities. + Help differentiate AbbVie’s value proposition, strengthening relationships with key accounts and supporting the company’s broader strategic objectives for growth and leadership in the pharma sector. + Travel as per business needs. Qualifications Know How and Work Experience Requirements: + University degree, preferably in Business or Life Sciences. + A postgraduate degree will be considered a plus (i.e. MBA). + Relevant experience of more than 3 years with demonstrated track record of success in sales and/or Marketing in the Oncology Market, especially in Solid Tumors preferably in OC, will be considered a plus. + Experience in managing territorial budget, forecasting and KPI tracking, leveraging strong analytical skills. + Proven ability to translate strategies into actionable and realistic key account engagement plans. Skills: + Very strong customer focus. + Maintain a positive attitude and provide exemplary customer service. + Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. + Open to cooperation in a matrix organization that encourages cross functional fertilization. + Effectively communicate, influence, and negotiate with all relevant external and internal stakeholders. + Tactical planning skills, prioritizing decisions and activities to ensure efficient use of resources, addressing proactively all critical issues impacting the Brand. + Develop and nurture innovation and be able to identify the most appropriate solutions to complex problems. + Excellent Greek and English, verbal and written communication skills. + Digital savvy. Excellent use of MS Office suite and familiarity with CRM systems.
