**About the role:**
The Key Account Manager, South (KAM) will be an active member of the LIV Sales team reporting to the Director of Sales for the Grocery Channels. The KAM will be responsible for building, developing, optimizing, and executing strategic plans for existing and relevant grocery customers in the South - SEG, MDI, Lowes, and Ingles with a focus on Publix & Harris Teeter.
LIV is looking for a customer expert and sales leader who will drive topline sales, profit and share in the South with Publix & Harris Teeter as the focus. This person will collaborate cross-functionally, manage trade fund budgets, develop multi-year Joint Customer Business Plans, build effective internal and external relationships and define the capability plan to deliver consumer trial, awareness and conversion. The KAM will accomplish these activities with deep consumer/shopper insights, data analysis, strategic thinking and effective communication skills. As a sales leader, this person will be expected to deliver and communicate timely and consistent business updates, customer strategies and plan achievement/status.
**Functions and duties of this role include, but not limited to:**
+ Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales, share and AMPS (assortment, merchandising, pricing and shelving) targets.
+ Use data (IRI/Circana, Customer Portals) and consumer/shopper insights to identify key business priorities including: innovation sell in, category reviews, pricing and promotional optimization, and new item tracking
+ Develop deep relationships with all levels of the management team at customers to create and influence joint business plans.
+ Collaborate cross-functionally to build and execute the brand plans seamlessly with retail marketing, finance, brand management and supply chain operations.
+ Manage trade and sales promotion budget for efficient spending to drive growth. This includes pre and post spend analysis.
+ Manage relationship with brokers, and various customer entities leveraging their relationships, and work with their team to develop tactical in-store marketing plans.
+ Be the expert of the category-specific landscapes, and trends for the retailer/customer at large
**Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
+ 3 - 4 + Years in selling CPG within a large account
+ 4 + Years of Broker experience preferred.
+ Familiarity with grocery retailers in the southern US with their inner workings and programs.
+ Growth mindset professionally and personally, one that values personal development.
+ Action oriented with a can-do, positive attitude, inspiring others to adopt a winning attitude.
+ Proven ability to establish, develop, and maintain customer relationships.
+ Ability to interpret syndicated data and applications such as IRI, Neilsen or SPINS a plus.
+ Track record of success in meeting or exceeding targets.
+ Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
+ Proven ability to position products against competitors.
+ Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
+ Excellent verbal and written communications skill.
+ Proven ability to establish, develop, and maintain customer relationships

**Work Environment:**
+ The responsibilities of this job will be handled from your home office with up to 20%-30% travel including trade shows/expos, and other relevant events.
+ This candidate will ideally be located in the **Southern US (Atlanta, Charlotte, Nashville, Florida).**
Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
The expected salary range for this position is $110,700 - $166,100 annually and is bonus eligible. The exact salary is determined by various factors including experience, skills, education, geographic location, internal company equity, and budget.
