Job Summary
Concentrate on maximising new publisher acquisition to drive sales growth in print on demand services.
Manage and grow existing publisher accounts by identifying and presenting opportunities to expand publisher engagement in global markets
Essential Job Duties:
Manage a portfolio of publishers to maximise their value by increasing print on demand titles submissions, revenue and achieving sales targets.Proactive acquire new business through publisher leads and manage the sales process from initial outreach to onboarding.Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction, retention and repeat business.Collaborate with clients and UK Customer/Client Services team and, where appropriate, the US Sales team on global accounts to deliver seamless experiences and maximize customers/clients’ satisfaction and sales growth.Work with the Marketing department to generate more publisher leads and to set-up meetings with target organisationsAttend industry/trade events representing Ingram Content Group and staying updated on market trends and identifying new opportunities.Negotiate pricing and contracts to align with client needs and achieve business objectives, with reference to the Deal Forms process as appropriateMaximize revenue and inventory opportunities through proactive upselling and cross selling services to maximize revenue and develop longer term partner relationships.Provide performance reports and actionable market insights to inform sales strategies and drive continuous improvement.Participate in planning and implementation with publishers through to contract signature stage, following agreed protocols for contract negotiation. Engage with relevant business units in the development of project execution and implementation planning post contract signature.Regularly report on activities and completed sales across the range of solutions.Deliver regular customer, competitor and market feedback to support strategic decision-making.To be responsible for your own Health and Safety and be aware of factors affecting your colleagues to maintain a safe environment.To report any accidents, potential hazards to your Line Manager immediately.Qualifications:
Experience:
3-5 years’ experience in sales OR book industryEducation:
College / University degree or directly related year for year experienceSkills:
