Key Account Specialist _Radiology
JOB PURPOSE:
Bayer’s The Solution Provider in Radiology. This direction advances a shared philosophy to fulfill our purpose while creating a new, differentiated presence in the imaging market. While our innovative products have created both clinical and financial value, our customer engagement approach has evolved to become the main difference-maker regarding innovation and competitiveness. This initiative will explore the cocreation of value with customers who need more from their industry partners, potentially creating new, customized ways of creating value for both customers and Bayer. This role is not just about managing the radiology business (consisting of contrast media, medical devices, and workflow solutions) in Malaysia's assigned accounts. It's about being a driving force in our brand and product/solution strategies and making a significant impact on the radiology industry. You will be fully accountable for developing long-term relationships and partnerships with customers, promoting Bayer's offers by presenting the product's value (i.e., customer, patient, economical) over features. This role also plays a significant part in building, developing, and growing the assigned territory growth. It includes managing local/national tenders and funnel opportunities in the assigned territory. Most importantly, it also includes executing marketing and scientific activities in the assigned territory, thereby shaping brand/product strategies in the short, mid, and long term to achieve set business objectives.
YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIILITIES:
Achieve set individual sales targets (profitable and sustainable growth) for the radiology business.Manage and execute accounts territory plan (ATP) to achieve sales targets and customer satisfaction goals.Build strong relationships with key decision-makers, including referral physicians and stakeholders. Establish and develop customer segmentation, using customer stakeholders' mapping matrix to create a value proposition for the accounts plan. Record sales calls with outcome updates in the RAD CRM platform. Identify and pursue new business opportunities (cross-selling, up-selling and win over competition) Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bridge the right expertise in regional APAC to form a customer squad and deliver an exceptional Customer experience. - Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements. Provide product and holistic offering expertise to customers. Resolve customer complaints and issues promptly and professionally. Plan and execute tender management, pre-sales, and post-sales activities, including product presentation, demonstration, facilitating customer operational training, and e-detailing scientific publication on contrast media. Plan effectively on all scientific and marketing activities (local or regional) in assigned territory, as well as Congress participation. Stay up to date on industry developments and competitor activity in the radiology space. Ensure regular updates on training and compliance requirements.
WHO YOU ARE:
