Job Description/ResponsibilitiesThe Key Accounts Manager (KAM) – Ohio is responsible for managing Sazerac’s relationship with low-proof distributor brokers. This role focuses on driving sales performance through monthly programs, new brand developments (NBDs), and distributor education and training. The KAM collaborates closely with Distributor Sales Managers to provide insights, tools, and resources that support effective in-market execution. Additionally, they work alongside the State Manager to ensure distributors meet Sazerac’s volume, distribution, market share, and financial targets. This role is critical in ensuring Sazerac’s continued success in the Ohio market by optimizing distributor partnerships and driving key brand initiatives.

Drive Sales & Market GrowthDevelop and execute KPIs to accelerate volume, distribution, and overall market share growth.Achieve volume, distribution, and share objectives for priority brands within Ohio’s target account universe.Track, measure, and report performance results to leadership.Distributor & Retail ManagementBuild and maintain strong field-level relationships with distributors, setting clear goals and performance expectations.Monitor retail pricing to align with brand strategies and recommend adjustments as needed.Provide strategic direction and oversight to distributor leadership to ensure brand focus and growth.Market Intelligence & ComplianceDeliver insights on consumer behavior, market trends, and brand performance to leadership.Ensure seamless retail integration and communication of new brand acquisitions.Oversee the implementation of off-premise national account programs, ensuring distributor compliance and execution.Strategic Account DevelopmentEstablish and nurture relationships with key off-premise accounts.Develop Joint Business Plans to drive distribution, visibility, and implementation of priority brands. Qualifications/RequirementsMust-Have:
Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field2+ years of relevant experience of sales or distributor management in alcohol beverage industry2+ years of National Accounts or Key Account experience (on Premise or off Premise)Strong analytical, interpersonal, and presentation skillsProven ability to analyze data and apply insights to drive business decisionsExcellent project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneouslyDemonstrated ability to drive results in a fast-paced, high-growth environmentExceptional oral and written communication skillsStrong planning and organizational skills Ability and willingness to work non-traditional hours, including nights and weekendsWillingness to travel as neededPreferred:
