Purpose of Job

The purpose of the role is to manage sales activities related to Ammonia sand specialty gases in RSA in order to deliver on financial targets (Revenue, Gross margin, fixed costs and working capital) whilst ensuring customer satisfaction within the guidelines of safety and compliance.

Key Accountabilities Contribute to the ongoing maximization of Sasol Chemicals' margin by delivering on volume and price realization targets. Manage Cash Fixed Cost within budget Collaboration with various internal stakeholders (Supply Chain, Finance, etc.) to ensure customer accounts are managed efficiently. Contribute to meeting working capital targets: reduction of DSO, demand forecast accuracy and support with inventory management where required. Planning and decision making to assist other stakeholders in the value chain to plan and optimize production facilities. Negotiate contracts, prices, and service levels with customers within a set mandate. Ensure proactive preparation for contract renegotiations and effective management of contracts for Ammonia and Speciality gases. Ensure submission of weekly/monthly reports and possible impacts identified and escalated to relevant internal stakeholders. Develop and maintain sound business relationships with customers in the portfolio Drive customer service in line with segmentation principles Implement processes and systems that ensure sound governance and compliance. Pursue Sasol's purpose and values as member of the wider Chemicals team Use of tools such as CRM, SAP, etc. Formal Education
