Responsibilities

The Key Account/Special Project Manager is responsible for overseeing unique and non-routine complex projects while nurturing relationships with key clients. The individual is responsible for project definition, pricing, project timelines, drawings, billing of materials, change orders, margins, and communication to all interested parties. This role is key in managing unique projects ensuring they are completed efficiently and effectively. This role will work with the order management department team leads to improve capabilities, processing times and error reduction.

Primary Responsibilities

Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients,Serve as the main point of contact between the company and key accounts facilitating clear and effective communication.Project Management, including timelines, budgets and allocation of resources.Identify and address issues or complaints with customers and within our organization.Ensure timely and successful delivery of products and services to meet customer needs.Prepare reports on account status, progress, and forecasts for internal and external stakeholders.May be required to do some project estimating.Review orders and process project information.Process change orders.Project close out and checklist.Coordinate project Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable invoicing.Investigate and coordinate warranties and claims.Maintain project file including drawings, permits, correspondence, warranty, financial.Occasionally travel to client projects.

Qualifications

Associate Degree in Architectural Drafting or related field is required.Minimum of 5 years architectural drafting experience in complex project designs.Proven experience managing complex architectural projects is necessary.Demonstrated leadership abilities required.Strong interpersonal skills to develop and maintain client relationships.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Exceptional problem-solving skills to address client and organizational concerns effectively.Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and CAD.Proficiency in reading blueprints and manufacturing documents.Preferred proficiency in ERP systems and project pricing software. Strong preference of Improv®, Epicor sales order entry.Ability to adapt to changing work priorities.
