Key Purchasing Project Manager

Main Tasks

Cooperation in projects with development to secure purchasing interests in new developments, for cost- and benefit-optimal design and placement of components Assessment of the capacity, process and quality assurance for sample and pre-series parts at the supplier Management of key projects (project organization, planning, implementation, and control) together with other purchasing departments (locations, commodities, cost & value engineering) Independent analysis, conception and implementation of projects in strategic purchasing Assumption of the subproject manager function in new projects Project collaboration and coordination in international, cross-functional field

Requirements

Technical or Commercial university degree Professional experience (minimum 5 years) in similar position in multinational company culture or consultancy experience in supply chain / sourcing / manufacturing / industrial development Good communication and presentation skills Extensive knowledge of sourcing, strategic sourcing processes, negotiation experience Strong project management skills Very good command of English written and spoken Willingness to travel
