What you do on a typical day
As a Key-user your mission is to administer software and hardware resources (PCs, PDAs, printers, etc.).
Arrange the planning, coordination and carrying out interventions between central departments and the DC. Support the development of applications as required by the head office, as well as the management, support, and resolution of issues for users. Furthermore, support the operations with for instance incident-related matters (think of malfunctioning scanners, warehouse management systems or automated processes). You report issues/faults and document them in order to be able to prevent/resolve such problems in the future. At GXO you will be working at one of the largest Supply Chain organizations in the world. Therefore, no working day is the same! In this position the focus is on retrieving the business requirements and translating these into an optimal IT solution, besides other responsibilities such as:
• Administration of Active Directory (Software Permits for users)
• Printing services
• Configuration of Mobile Terminals (Windows Mobile and Android)
• Configuration of Wireless Devices
• Hardware and equipment modelling
• Communication with external and internal agents
• Support and installation in DPC (Data Processing Centre)
What you need to succeed at GXO
• Bachelor’s degree/HBO in IT Network Systems Administration or engineering will be preferable
• Min 2 years of experience in a similar position
• You have excellent knowledge of the Dutch and English languages, both spoken and written
• Knowledge of Spanish is an advantage
• Advanced level of MS Office, MS Windows, MS SQL
• Systems Administration MS Windows (Active Directory)
• Knowledge of LAN&WIFI networks and CCNA
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills, thinks in processes and improvements.
• Pro-active, motivated and stress resistant
• Excellent knowledge of WMS systems at the configuration level and logistical warehouse processes.
• Preferably with knowledge or experience in Automatic Sorting Systems for orders/purchase preparation
• Clear and direct communication skills, able to translate mechanical and systematic problems to higher management in an understandable way.
