Business Unit: Financial Risk Solutions, Group Business Banking
Salary Range: £38,400 to £48,000 per annum DOE + red-hot benefits
Location: UK Hybrid – Mix of Glasgow office (hub) and home working
Contract Type: Permanent (full time)

Our Team

Financial Risk Solutions are an integral cog in the life of our business customers trading cycle. We help customers transact foreign exchange, manage their price risk when borrowing money and help them when they need to deposit large sums of money. Our skillset is also required when personal customers need to move money internationally and/or between their currency accounts.

What you’ll be doing

Assisting our Corporate & SME customers to manage their price risk. Transacting fixed rate loans with our business customers. Managing rolling credit facilities for our larger trading businesses. Providing money market deposits. Processing foreign exchange with our internal departments. Liaising with our business customers to help them convert currencies. Keeping close to the foreign exchange and money markets.

We need you to have

A passion for delivering outstanding customer service. Excellent interpersonal skills. Proficiency with mathematics. Strong verbal and written communication capabilities. Capacity to cope with complex situations, tight deadlines and to have a flexible approach to challenges and problem solving. Commitment to consistently provide high standards of work with outstanding accuracy and attention to detail. Be a strong team player

It’s a bonus if you have but not essential

A relevant degree which incorporated mathematics and/or economics & finance. Knowledge & interest of the UK and global economies. A track record of having worked and succeeded in a comparable environment.

If you're successful in securing a role with us, there are some checks you need to complete before starting.
