Our Team
It’s an exciting time for us as we grow our Economic Crime (PROTECT) team who have a critical role to play, keeping us and our customers safe. They are our first line of defence function and responsible for day-to-day fraud and financial crime risk identification, ownership, management and control.
We’re seeking a creative, engaging and innovative Fraud Education and Communications Senior Specialist, who is insatiably curious and isn’t afraid to challenge the status quo and ready to make an impact.
As a member of the Fraud Strategy team, you’ll be responsible for developing and delivering the fraud education and awareness programme for colleagues, ensuring our entire organisation is equipped with the fraud knowledge and tools to support our customers in the fight against fraud. As well as the focus on internal education, you’ll work closely with the Fraud Customer Communications Manager to support the delivery of the overarching customer communications strategy too.
What you’ll be doing
Develop an internal fraud communications strategy, which aligns to the wider customer communications strategy, while supporting the Fraud Customer Communications Manager to deliver customer facing communications when necessary. Apply your creativity to design, manage and deliver a programme of on-brand fraud educational activity across multiple channels, to build understanding and awareness of fraud across the entire business, in particular our customer facing colleagues. Work with the Fraud Strategy, Analytics, Operations and Industry Engagement team to understand current threats or upcoming regulatory changes. Identifying knowledge gaps and any potential impact this might have on colleagues, ensuring they are aware and equipped for any changes. Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the bank to ensure we have an ongoing dialogue and spotlight on fraud. Provide regular fraud updates to various teams across the business, ensuring our colleagues have a solid understanding of general and emerging fraud threats. Work with our Internal Fraud Manager to understand the potential risks and deliver colleague education to mitigate against these. Work with Internal Communications team to showcase the customer education programme and champion the fraud team and our successes. Take a journalistic approach to uncover interesting fraud prevention stories and successes to use as case studies or in external communications.We need you to have
Considerable experience in communications. Knowledge of fraud threats and typologies in both retail and corporate banking. Great communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. A track record of successful senior stakeholder management. Experience of designing and producing accurate, strategic communications within tight timelines and to the highest quality. Experience in creating concise, compelling content, with a flair and expertise for written communications. Great storytelling and presentation skills, both in the creation and delivery of key messages.It’s a bonus if you have but not essential
Prior experience of delivering marketing communications across various channels. Knowledge of Learning & Development, delivering training and awareness.Red Hot Rewards
