Desired Qualifications: Proven success working with elementary school students (including behavior management and curriculum implementation); In progress or completed associate or bachelor's degree in child development, recreation, human services or related field preferred; Experience/skills working collaboratively with other adults; Current Red Cross First Aid and CPR certification. Position Summary/Responsibilities: Lead Teachers are required to display enthusiasm for working with school-aged children; Develop and implement hands-on, engaging activities for elementary aged children; Communicate effectively with children, parents, building personnel, and program staff; Direct the work of program assistants/aides/volunteers; Follow emergency procedures if required; Other duties as assigned.
