This position entails access to export-controlled items and employment offers are conditioned upon an applicant's ability to lawfully obtain access to such items.
Loads/Unloads cores in setters and/or saggers per PC instructions
Loads/Unloads setters and/or saggers onto kiln beds.
Pyrometric cones/temp check tabs
Transfers setters into and out of setter storage area.
Evaluate setters for serviceability.
Maintain location records
Loads/Unloads core into prebake and anneal oven per PC instructions
Periodically records data from kilns.
Immediately reports any apparent malfunctions of the kilns
Accurately records all data as required and assures that all previous operations have been completed
Prolonged exposure to radiant heat from furnaces, hot vessels, hot metal, and hot tasks where there is a clear sensation of warmth on the skin for at least 15 minutes.
Performs other duties as directed by facilitators
Maintain clean work area
