New opportunities have arisen for Kitchen Assistants to help maintain high levels of service and assist with the smooth running of the kitchens.

Duties include:

To follow the cleaning schedules for the kitchen and clean the section and other areas as directed. To ensure that all kitchen ware is cleaned and well maintained including using all PPE chemicals appropriately. To report any maintenance issues to the Chef in charge immediately. To comply with all Priory policies and procedures to ensure that all-statutory regulations are observed. To comply with the conditions of the food and hygiene policies. Carry out other general duties as directed by Chef in charge. Ensure the kitchen and associated areas meet operational hygiene standards and comply with the company’s Assured Safe Catering policies and procedures. To be flexible and willing to help out in other catering areas at busy times if required i.e.  Waiting on staff and patients, which involves Ensuring diners are served in a welcoming and courteous manner. Ensures dining area in clean and tidy, tables are cleared and cleaned promptly. Advise diners on the daily menu, taking account of food and drink thay may cause an adverse reaction.
