Ho`ōla Nā Pua and Rite of Passage have opened the first gender-specific residential treatment program in Hawaii specifically designed to provide services to commercially sexually exploited girls: Pearl Haven.

Our vision is to provide youth who have been victims of sexual exploitation with a path to restoration and healing from their trauma, an increased sense of self-worth, and the confidence and ability to successfully reintegrate into their families and community. Currently, we are looking to fill our key roles that will assist in the start-up and implementation of this program.  We are seeking highly motivated and dedicated individuals who are committed to providing the highest quality of service in support of the youth that we serve.

What you’ll do:

Ensures that healthy and tasty food is prepared in accordance with all Federal, State, Local, and National School Lunch and Breakfast Program requirements. Oversees performance of Cooks.  Executes periodic audits on all requirements to keep kitchen and dining areas in accordance with laws and health department requirements.   Ensures that the working condition of all food preparation equipment is in good repair. Coordinates maintenance and repairs.  Maintains a daily and monthly inventory log of all supplies, materials and equipment to ensure all items are accounted for. Maintains a materials safety data sheet, if applicable.

 To be considered, you should:

High school diploma or equivalent required. If required to operate a company vehicle during the course of employment, must meet the requirements to be an eligible ROP driver. Must possess a current State Driver’s License and have an acceptable driving record for the past three (3) years. Ability to pass a criminal background clearance check, drug screen, physical and TB test. 2 to 5 years of experience in culinary / food service.
