What will you do in this job? Schedule creation and managementTrain and invest in kitchen team’s learning and growthManage ordering, inventory, scheduling, timecards, etc.Maintain sanitation and cleanliness of kitchen stationsMaintain state and federal food safety standardsWeekly meal planning and management for staff lunchLead team in preparation of daily staff lunches for all Glacier Raft Company DepartmentsFacilitate kitchen team in preparing and packing food and hard gear for full day rafting tripsFacilitate kitchen team in preparing and packing box lunches for full day fishing tripsFacilitate kitchen team in preparing, packing, and serving Riverside Dinners to guestsMonitor upcoming trip schedule to ensure food is prepped and readyCoordinate with Operations Management and Team Leaders in menu planning and packing for all overnight rafting tripsHelp Assistant Manager in packing and preparing all food and kitchen-related hard gear for overnight tripsAct as a liaison between the kitchen staff and the raft trip leaders and their supervisors.Assist as needed with food support for special events, meetings, conferences, and banquetsOffers assistance to guests and teammates where neededBe a utility player who can complete a variety of job duties and work a flexible schedule What skills and experience do you need for this job? Busy. You need to be prepared for a physical working environment with walking, stair climbing, bending, reaching, lifting (up to 50 pounds with assistance) as required
