JOB DESCRIPTION
Our mission is to ensure the club members find themselves on an exceptional lifestyle enjoyment journey through their favorite sport activities combined with endless hand crafted food and beverage offerings and personalized service excellence. Ideal candidates are highly dependable, detail-oriented, and able to take direction well in a fast-paced environment. The Kitchen Porter is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitization of dishes, tableware, glassware, pots, pans, and utensils through manual and machine cleaning methods. Additionally, porter is expected to keep the dishwashing and storage areas clean and safe. Food Safety and Sanitation Training is required upon hire.
Ideal candidates have flexible schedules with availability to work weekends and holidays, as needed. This includes competitive compensation starting at $16.00 per hour.

Responsibilities
• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and/or pans using dishwashers or by hand if necessary
• Retrieve clean silverware, plates and glassware from washing areas and polish
• Clean garbage cans with water or steam
• Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in clean and orderly condition
• Place clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in storage areas and keep everything in organized order
• Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas
• Clean and prepare various foods for cooking or serving if asked by chef
• Sweep and scrub floors in the kitchen
• Use designated polishing cloth for polishing – different for different materials
• Inspect silverware, plates and glassware for possible chips and discoloration and mark defects to make sure they are not used in the circulation
• Notify Chef or Department Manager if there is a shortage of any particular pots, pans, silverware, plates or glassware
• Cleans and sanitizes workstation and equipment
• Ability to perform any other duties as assigned by Chef or Department Manager
Education and Experience Requirements
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job (i.e., the associates may be required to communicate with English speaking customers or co-workers, the manuals for the equipment the associates may use are in English)
• Food Safety and Sanitation Training
Working Conditions
• Frequently stands, uses hands, talks, listens, tastes, and smells
• Regularly walks and reaches with hands and arms
• Occasionally sits, climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crouches, or crawls
• Regularly lifts up to 50 pounds and occasionally lifts up to 100 pounds
• Regularly works in extreme heat (non-weather) and near moving mechanical parts.
• Occasionally works in extreme cold (non-weather), wet or humid conditions (non-weather), near toxic or caustic chemicals, and in outdoor weather
• Noise level is moderate
