THE JOB:

As a Kitchen Steward at Luxor, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the dishes, glassware, flatware, and kitchen areas. Your dedication to detail and adherence to health and safety standards will ensure smooth operations and contribute to an exceptional culinary experience.

THE STARTING RATE: $23.3839

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

Gather, wash, and sanitize pots, pans, dishes, glassware, and flatware using a three-compartment sink or pot washer.Ensure all items are returned to their designated storage locations.Breakdown, load, unload, catch, and properly sort kitchenware as it is brought to the dish area.Maintain chemical detergents in dishwashers, pot washers, and other dispensers.Clean baseboards, floor drains, hand sinks, tables, cutting boards, kitchen equipment, and more. Sweep and mop floors and wash floor mats.Separate and remove trash and garbage, place them in designated containers, and handle biohazard clean-up when necessary.Transport kitchen equipment such as hot and cold boxes, speed racks, and push carts between various property outlets.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

Must be at least 18 years of age or older.Efficient, detail-oriented, and flexible in fast-paced environments.
