The majority of our guests are happy to reward our colleagues for their excellent service.As a Kitchen Steward / Porter, you will be responsible for assisting the Kitchen Team dispose of kitchen waste and deep cleaning of the kitchen and wash up areas. Responsibilities will include maintaining a high standard of hygiene and safety in the kitchen, carrying out cleaning duties as specified by the Kitchen Manager such as, sweeping and mopping floors and operating pot-washing machinery.The successful candidate must:Be able to work under pressureHave the ability to work on their own or as part of a teamHave good communication skillsAdhere to company COSHH regulations and ISO standards at all timesHOURS OF WORKWorking straight shifts, you will be contracted to work 150 hours per 4-week period on a flexible basis. This means that your days and hours of work could vary each week, but you will always receive at least your contracted hours each period. Shifts will fall between 7am and 11pm and include working 3 out of 4 weekends.As our village is open 365 days of the year, your working hours will include public / bank holidays and during Christmas and / or New Year on a rota basis.EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONSEssential requirements: Ability to work on your own and as part of a teamDesirable requirements:Previous experience as a Kitchen Steward / PorterAbility to work in an organised manner and remain calm under pressureABOUT THE BENEFITSCenter Parcs is a fantastic place to work and the benefits are as impressive as they are unique.
