1. Maintains general cleanliness and orderliness in JIRO by cleaning the kitchen area, the bar and the dining area - sanitizing countertops, wiping the tables clean, arranging the chairs, sweeping and mopping the floors and maintaining the cleanliness of the store
throughout the operations;
2. Cleans and sanitizes dishes, utensils and other cooking equipment;
3. Assists in the food preparation by preparing the ingredients and doing mise en place;
4. Serves coffee, other beverages and food to customers;
5. Does the marketing of ingredients (raw materials and dry goods) from selected stores
whenever required;
6. Runs errands as may be assigned and authorized by the Operations Manager,
7. Keeps track of the inventory of ingredients and cleaning and packaging materials;
8. Complies with health and safety regulations by maintaining a sanitized and orderly work
environment in JIRO before, during and after operations which includes regularly
scheduled deep cleaning, proper pest control by setting up of traps;
9. Sees to it that equipment operate properly and reports to the Operations Manager any
damaged equipment that need prompt fixing;
10. Provides good customer service to the customers;
11. Stays informed and knowledgeable about menu offering; and
12. Takes stewardship of the kitchen and bar utensils and equipment.
