JOB SUMMARY:

·        Responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation for all pots and pans. ·        Responsible of washing china, glassware,silverware, mopping and sweeping floors, and keeping their work area clean andorganized. Responsible of washing floormats, speed racks, queenmarys, kettles, roasting pans, dollies, etc. Responsible for re-stocking the buffet lines with ice, china, flatware, and glassware. Responsible of polishing all silver equipment as needed/or directed. Responsible of emptying trash cans and keeping the loading dock clean. Responsible for the over all cleanliness of the floors as directed by the supervisor. Responsible for the cleanliness of all walk-ins, freezers, reach-ins and back hallways. Will help in banquet dish ups as needed or directed by his/her supervisor. The kitchen worker will adhere to all Health department, sanitation and safety regulations as required by the company

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:  

·        Maintaincleanliness and organization of all kitchen areas and equipment.

·        Maintaina pace of work, which allows supplies to be cleaned and put in their properplace, which meets business demands.

·        Operateequipment as directed.

·        Respectsall company property.

·        Assistothers in duties as directed by supervisors.

·        Mustassist patrons in answering questions and direct them to areas of safety duringemergencies as instructed by management, security or senior crew members.

·        Assureexceptional customer service to all patrons by communicating in a pleasant,friendly, and professional manner at all times.

 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

High schooldiploma or GED equivalent preferred. Back of house restaurant experience preferred. Must have neat and cleanappearance.

 

PHYSICAL,MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:  

·        Ableto push, pull, carry, or lift up to 100lbs repetitively throughout the workday.

·        Thephysical ability to stand and/or walk continuously for duration of shift.

·        Thephysical ability to climb stairs, balance, bend/stoop, and kneel continuously.

·        Thephysical ability to frequently crouch, push/pull, squat, and work above theshoulders with both arms.

·        Thephysical ability to use both hands for continuous grasping.

·        Thephysical ability to tolerate any required personal protective equipment such asgloves, safety glasses, safety goggles, and other protective equipment deemedappropriate on a continuous basis.

·        Abilityto safely operate motorized equipment  

·        Attentionto detail and must have visual capabilities needed to inspect work uponcompletion to avoid leaving deficient work.

·        Abilityto maintain regular, predictable attendance according to schedule

·        Communicateverbally, clearly and articulately.

·        Understandand comply with Policies and Procedures, Job Description, daily memorandums,and other instructions.

 

·        Mustbe able to work under stressful conditions.
