THE JOB:
 

As a Kitchen Worker, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the dishes, glassware, flatware and the dish area.  You will also set the stage for guest experience with your welcoming smile and service. By understanding their unique stories and needs, you will own their experience to create WOW memories they will carry with them far and beyond their stay with us.

THE STARTING RATE: $23.6183 hourly

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

Break down, load, unload, and properly sort dishes, glassware, and flatware brought to the dish area.

Wash, sort, and store pots and other kitchen equipment in their designated locations.

Operate and maintain dishwashing machines, ensuring proper detergent and chemical levels.

Inspect cleaned dishes for quality and carefully stack them in specified carts and shelves.

Polish silver, copper, and brass items as needed.

Transport kitchen equipment, such as hot and cold boxes, speed racks, and push carts, between outlets and facilities.

Sweep and mop floors, clean floor mats, baseboards, floor drains, hand sinks, tables, and cutting boards.

Separate and dispose of trash and garbage in designated containers; steam clean and hose out garbage cans regularly.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays

Previous kitchen worker, dishwasher or stewarding experience is a plus but not required.

Experience working in a similar resort setting

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
