Our aseptic processing and packaging makes our solutions more convenient, efficient and environmentally friendly. We are seeking an energetic, skilled​ Kitter for openings in our facility in Ark City, KS.   We operate 24 / 7, 7 days per week.   Shift is 10am-6pm, this opportunity will require flexibility to work weekends and overtime. 

JOB SUMMARY:

Kitter is responsible for building kits and/or super sacks in accordance with production schedule. While ensuring that all ingredients, materials, and packaging are prepared and ready for the production line. Their role is essential in maintaining the flow of production while adhering to food safety, quality, and organizational standards.

COMPENSATION

The expected compensation range for this position is: $15.75-$16.75 shift differential when worked.

Primary Objectives:

Coordinate GSF Quality activities and operations to meet objective for quality, food safety, regulatory compliances, cost, safety, and customer satisfaction at KanPakParticipate in formulating and administering division’s short- and long-range goals and objectives for business growthBuild kits and/or super sacks per customer specifications and in accordance with production scheduleComply with all KanPak policies and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) as well as state and federal law to ensure food safety and food defense is maintainedEnsure the correct quantities of ingredients are prepared in advance for each batch or production line.Assemble items based on specific recipes or production requirements, ensuring everything is pre-measured and ready to be used.Maintain strict housekeeping protocols to ensure compliance with all policies and practicesDaily cleaning and sanitizing of kitting area to ensure compliance as note aboveUse all proper PPE to ensure safe handling of materialsCommunicate any issues, concerns, or risks, to supervisor or lead in a timely mannerPerform other related duties as assignedUse Scan gun, scales, calculators, scoops and measuring utensils. Qualifications

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalentDemonstrated basic math skillsForklift / mobile equipment experience preferredScan gun experience preferred

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. May be exposed to various allergens.
