Job Description: \n

Responsibilities\n

The KOM will maintain the Knowledge Operations program in-conjunction with the AFCENT Command Record Manager (CRM), Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) Manager, Publication Manager, and the Privacy Manager, with the maintenance and management of SharePoint, records management, publications and forms, privacy, and FOIA. The KOM's full time duty location will be onsite at Shaw AFB, SC but travel may be required to countries within the CENTCOM Area of Operations.\n

Job duties: \n\nOperates information systems to create, collect, process, disseminate, use, store, protect, and dispose of information.\nDevelops, provides, and educates users on workflow capabilities and tools to comply with structured electronic processes and flexibility to create\/develop ad hoc courses of actions. \nManages timeliness, accuracy, and maintenance of published Approves and publishes content through automated publishing tools.\nMaintain SharePoint sites that meet standardized layout development, accessibility, and security standards.\nProvide user training on system to local end users, site owners, and Knowledge Managers (KMs) as required.\nAssist in processing FOIA requests according to applicable laws, regulations, policies and local procedures.\nPerform redactions to documents under the direction of the initial denial authority (IDA).\nPreparing FOIA related correspondence for signature by a S. Government official.\nCommunicate with FOIA requesters concerning the status of the FOIA requests.\nEntering relevant information into the Electronic FOIA (eFOIA) tracking system. 3.34.12Assist with managing the Records Management Program.\nAssist in maintaining a training program for newly assigned Record Professionals. \nAssist in managing and maintaining the Air Force Records Information Management System (AFRIMS).\nAssist with AFCENT, USCENTCOM, and HQ Air Force publications and forms program administration, providing guidance and assistance to organizational personnel. \nReviews publications and forms to ensure compliance with applicable guidance before publishing. \nAssist in processing publications and forms actions to include tracking, reviewing, posting and maintaining.\nPromote privacy awareness throughout the organization and reinforce the protection of Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI).\nProvide information life-cycle management; including the creation, collection, access storage, retrieval and disposal of information originated and received by the NOSC.\nMaintain SharePoint list and document libraries to ensure official records and working papers comply with AFCENT, HQ Air Force, USCENTCOM, and DoD records management and storage directives.\n\n

Qualifications\n\nThree (3) or more years' relevant experience AND SharePoint experience. \nITIL Foundations required. \nActive Secret Clearance required.\n\n
