The position is accountable for proactively soliciting and handling sales opportunities. Handle all day-to-day activities related to sales with a focus on building this market through long-term, value-based customer relationships that enable achievement of sales objectives. Ensures business is handed over properly and in a timely manner for proper service delivery. Achieves personal sales goals. Assists management in training and motivating employees as needed; and serves as a role model. Follow all company policies and procedures; ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guests’ service needs; thanks guests with genuine appreciation. Speaks with others using clear and professional language; prepares and review written documents accurately and completely; answers telephones using appropriate etiquette. Develops and maintains positive working relationships with others; supports team to reach common goals; listens and responds appropriately to the concerns of other employees. Monitors the performance of others to ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards as needed. **Requirement/Preferred:** • Native Korean Speaker, fluent in oral and written required. • Japanese and/or Chinese speaker preferred. • Group and transient sales experience either at a property level or in a sales office preferred. • Hotel operations experience a plus. _Marriott International is an equal opportunity employer.
