We are seeking an energetic, skilled​ Accounting Assistant for openings in our facility in Ark City, KS. We operate 24 / 7, 7 days per week. Shift is 8am-5pm; Mon-Fri, . JOB SUMMARY: The Accounting Assistant is responsible for reviewing daily Manufacturing Orders, reporting SKU level shrink and variances, bulk inventory accounting, bulk chemical inventory, and weekly reporting/monthly closing activities. Responsibilities Coordinate GSF Quality activities and operations to meet objectives for quality, food safety, regulatory compliances, cost, safety and customer satisfaction at KanPak. Participate in formulating and administering division’s short- and long-range goals and objectives for business growth. + Review of Daily FG Manufacturing Orders + Check for Orders held up in MRP System + Verify BOM Issuances + FG Received + Closing Out Orders + Reporting SKU level Shrink and Variances on a daily/weekly basis. + By Production Line + Bulk Inventory Accounting + Verify Receipts & Issuances of Raw Materials in GP to Ignition + Daily Manifest Reporting to Vendors + Monthly Reconciliation & Adjusting Entries + Bulk Chemical Inventory + Verify Receipts + Monthly Reconciliation & Adjusting Entries + Update Weekly MFG Order KPI + Update Weekly Bottle Line KPI + Preform Month-end Closing Task + Year-end Physical Inventory Counts + Organize and maintain documents, ensuring they are accessible and in compliance with company policies + Other duties assigned by management. Qualifications Employment Requirements: + High School Graduate or Equivalent required. + Minimum of an associate degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or related degree perferred. + Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience preferred.
