Our aseptic processing and packaging makes our solutions more convenient, efficient and environmentally friendly. We are seeking an energetic, skilled​ KP QC In Line Tech for openings in our facility in Ark City, KS.  We operate 24 / 7, 7 days per week.   Shift is 10pm-6am this opportunity will require flexibility to work weekends and overtime.

 

COMPENSATION

The expected compensation range for this position is: $17.00-$18.00/hr+ .50 shift differential when worked.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Quality Control Technician is responsible for sampling products, examining packaging, testing finished products, checking and recording processing parameter information and ensure food safety, legality and quality.

 

Responsibilities POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:Sample product and ensure quality through physical, chemical and sensory evaluationSample packaging and ensure integrity through visual and tear-down examinationsEnsure proper labeling and packaging formatsEnsure proper processing through checking and recording parametersOther job duties as required REQUIREMENTS: Ability to lift and move up to 50 poundsDetail OrientedHonesty/IntegrityReliabilityAccountabilityTake the extra mileServe as a team memberMaintain confidentiality of highly sensitive informationAbility to work well under pressure Qualifications

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

High School / GED required2-3 years’ experience or equivalent employment preferredAbility to lift and move up to 50 lbs.Working extended periods of time standingExcellent communication skills and working as part of a teamFlexibility to work various shifts and extended work daysSix months to one year in food industry experience preferred
