KYC Operations Analyst

Job Summary 

As  KYC Operations Analyst within Account Activity Review (AAR) team you will assist in effective execution of customer due diligence process, specifically on Correspondent Banking Clients and you will stay current with all regulatory changes and requirements around client KYC, Suitability and Documentation. You will be responsible for deep dive analysis of customer’s transactional activity and you will assure that any high risk patterns of activity are explained and documented within the AAR report and any transactional concerns are addressed or escalated as needed, prior to final assessment by a reviewer and the client facing team.

 

Job responsibilities:

Researches and investigates of confidential client data within publicly available and internal sourcesUnderstands the firm’s KYC requirements when completing documentationProcesses maker stage research for Correspondent Bank clients to include several risk assessments for any ML & CT activitiesCompares and contrasts differences within KYC records, highlights and escalates any discrepancies Meets firm wide quality standards Exhibits the highest standards of customer service to our internal and external customers (inclusive of confidentiality)Handlings and maintenances of confidential client documentation

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

Min 1 year in the Financial Services industry with a demonstrated track-record of delivery and/or relevant experience in Compliance, Corporate KYC, AML and Screening Strong research, analytical, and comprehension skills with the ability to analyze large amounts of dataStrong written/verbal communication, leadership, solid high volume processing and analytical skills with the ability to work independently on multiple assignments in a deadline driven, regulatory environmentExcellent interpersonal skills necessary to work effectively with colleagues and senior managementPossess strong computer skills:  Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word and PowerPoint Solid high volume processing and analytical skills with the ability to work independently on multiple assignments in a deadline driven, regulatory environment

 

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Ability to work both independently and as a team in a fast paced production environmentComfortable with change, ambiguity, debate, conflict and informed risk takingKnowledge of European languages – Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Italian, Russian – as well as Arabic Understanding of the banking industry, especially correspondent banking
