The person will be responsible for carrying out the design of custom ventilation units as well as technical manufac-turing and assembly drawings (sheet metal parts bending drawings, welding drawings, assembly drawings of differ-ent components). The person sought will also have to validate the information provided by the sales team and col-laborate with the operators and assemblers in the plant.

Roles and Responsibilities

Develop custom 3D models according to quotes and specifications provided by the sales teamWork closely with the sales team during the design while verifying the information provided by themPrepare manufacturing and assembly drawings for the productPrepare the product nomenclature (BOM)Print production documents (specifications, manufacturing, and assembly drawings)Interact with operators, assemblers, and production supervisorsAttend meetings with the departmentCreate and update typical procedures and drawings used by the departmentParticipate in product research and development (R&D)Other responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

Education: DEP in industrial design, a DEC in mechanical engineering or any other relevant training

Experience: Five (5) years or more of experience in a similar position

Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor.
