Kforce has a client in Atlanta, GA that is seeking a L2 Field Network Technician. The focus of this role is network infrastructure reliability, escalation support, and data center operations excellence. Responsibilities: * Install, configure, and support network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls) in mission-critical data center environments * Provide advanced (L2) troubleshooting of LAN/WAN connectivity issues and escalate unresolved faults * Perform structured cabling tasks, including patching, labeling, and physical layer validation * Monitor network performance and execute system upgrades within change control protocols * Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, physical layouts, and maintenance logs * Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure redundancy, capacity, and uptime targets are met * Uphold data center security, compliance, and environmental standards during all network activities
