As Bunge’s Lab Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting physical-chemical analysis from the samples taken from our production lines ranging from raw materials to finished products. You will play a key role in our quality department in the analysis and analytical results that must be evaluated with respect to process conditions, internal or legal specifications and different customers’ requirements. Besides being skilled in data processing and reporting, you are a candidate comfortable with close contact with production and logistics departments who can communicate and react fast when noticing deviations in the process.
More on the role:
The main focus of this role is the application of standardized procedures for physical, chemical and instrumental analysis. Additionally, you will support the calibration and maintenance of lab equipment and basic troubleshooting and the management of lab storage - from chemicals and consumables to product samples.

You are proactive when it comes to the work you deliver. Your diligent approach to projects and related tasks in terms of preparation, execution and reporting does not go unnoticed in your surroundings. Besides being a real team player with strong communications skills, you are interested in data analysis and digitalization of data in general. Most importantly, we are looking for a candidate who has experience in a production plant lab and has worked with industrial process control before. We expect you to understand the basic principles of organic, inorganic and analytical chemistry and mathematics and statistics.
Otherwise, you have:
BA in chemistry or food science; Used the main Office applications and SAP (QM module); It is plus to have previous experience in food and beverage industry, feed industry or chemical industry. On-call duty: you are available every 5 weeks on weekends and during the evenings (if and when needed).
What We Offer
At least 25 holiday days and 23 ATV days; Workweek of 40 hours; CLA of Bunge Netherlands; 13th Month; On-call extra pay (after approximately 6 months of being in the role).
