**Lab Animal Technician** Laboratory Millsboro, DE, US Pay Rate Low: 20.15 | Pay Rate High: 20.15 + Added - 26/06/2025 Apply for Job Our client, a trailblazing global pharmaceutical powerhouse, renowned for their expertise in developing and manufacturing a wide array of world-class pharmaceutical drugs, life-saving vaccines, and innovative animal-health products, is in search of a Lab Animal Technician to join their team. **Type** : Contract **Location:** Millsboro, DE **Pay:** Up to $20.15/hr **Responsibilities:** + Clean cages, pens, trays, equipment, and fittings. + Ensure animals are kept clean and comfortable. + Feed, water, handle, and move animals safely. + Monitor environmental conditions and report deviations to supervisor. + Perform clinical observations, sample collection, food consumption monitoring, and accurate data recording and reporting. + Assist with technical functions per training and other supervisor-assigned duties. + Collect and record research data and biological specimens in compliance with GLPs, study protocols, and SOPs. + Work reviewed by senior staff for conformance to protocols. + Stock and order supplies, maintain lab cleanliness, autoclave supplies, and properly dispose of biohazardous and chemical waste. **Qualifications:** + High school diploma + Previous animal handling experience is required _This job description is a complete list of all desired skills, but not all are required.
