Our Client, a Food Product Manufacturing Company, is looking for Lab Assistant for their Thompson's Station, TN location. Responsibilities + Supports analysts and laboratory by performing critical quality and food safety testing. + Delivers value and growth by driving product quality, assuring consumer safety and promoting efficiency based on robust science while developing consumer-relevant products, process and packaging. + Responsible for managing or performing work in some or all of the following areas; assisting scientists and engineers in lab environment (collect sample, perform biological or chemical analysis), setting controlled research experiments, day to day coordination or lab projects. + Responsible for performing various testing procedures in a laboratory environment for quality assurance. + Duties usually consist of making measurements, performing several routine quantitative and qualitative analytical tests, performing calculations and determinations on tests, and evaluating physical/chemical characteristics. + Analyzes test results and experiments to ensure conformity to physical and/or chemical specifications.
