About the role: 
Responsible for returned product routing and support for general daily lab operations.  Supports testing of a variety of mechanical and electrical analyses on products, raw materials, in-process materials, or stability samples in support of the company's quality program. May perform qualitative tests or quantitative assays on samples using techniques that vary from use of standard analytical equipment to highly modern and automated instrumentation. This position performs most duties in a biohazard lab with proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
 

Your responsibilities will include:

Create/maintain accurate data entry into complaint management system for inspected returned product. Perform routine laboratory testing in accordance with established procedures for returned products.  Document analysis findings into complaint management system. Responsible for product receipt, decontamination and routing products to Complaint Investigation Site labs and OEM locations. Responsible for maintaining product analysis text and codes to reflect analysis performed at another facility. Maintain return paperwork ensuring it is properly electronically and/or physically stored. Respond to internal and external customer queries concerning product location or credit. Actively interface with other Boston Scientific departments to corroborate special needs or procedure changes for product processing. Perform laboratory duties and other required support functions to support department objectives Responsible for specific scientific testing and provides back-up on other key test areas. Accountable for specific test data and can train on specific lab tests. May perform other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.

 

Required qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications Excellent documentation skills Knowledge of electronic principles and ability to read and comprehend work instructions, schematics and design documentation Critical thinking, troubleshooting and problem-solving ability High attention to detail Ability to work as part of a team

 

Preferred qualifications: 

Experience in complaints handling for medical devices Adaptable to priorities changing throughout a workday
