The lab assistant will assist the Principal Investigator’s research in a recently funded NIH grant titled: “Combined Guanfacine and Mindfulness Meditation as an Adjunct to Buprenorphine Maintenance in Opioid Use Disorder.” The Lab Assistant will also assist with lab services and procedures in support of activities of the laboratory.
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:
Assists with study participants recruitment and retention process. Works closely with the Principal Investigator and study physician. Responsible for the day-to-day scheduling of the mindfulness intervention. Assists with the maintenance of the Laboratory facilities, equipment, and instruments. Assists in packing, unpacking, storage and maintenance of lab supplies and materials. Assists with maintaining up to date records and files. Position Status Full Time Hours Per Week Daily Work Shift Work Arrangement This position requires a fully on-site work arrangement.
