Join our team as an AIT Lab Engineer, where you will play a critical role in ensuring material and process reliability through advanced testing and analysis techniques.
Material Qualification and Process Development: Apply advanced test methods to qualify new materials and develop processes for industrial applications, ensuring they meet industry standards.Compatibility and Interaction Evaluation: Analyze material compatibility and process interactions to enhance performance and reliability.Advanced Quality Assessments: Conduct state-of-the-art quality assessments (AIT) using cutting-edge test and evaluation techniques within the electronics industry.Microscopy and Sectional Analysis Expertise: Leverage microscopy and sectional cuts as essential tools for material evaluation, defect identification, and root cause analysis.Data Analysis and Reporting: Perform comprehensive data analyses, prepare detailed reports, and provide technical expertise to support lab operations and projects.QualificationsWhat distinguishes you:
Education:
Degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum of 1 year of experience in AIT analysis, with a preference for a technical background in AIT materials, including coatings, solder paste, Printed Circuit Board (PCB) and Surface-Mount Technology (SMT) manufacturing processes.
Know How:
Familiarity with evaluation methods in the electronics industry, such as optical microscopy, X-ray inspection, FTIR, SEM/EDS, wetting balance, and dye & pry.Skilled in performing cross-sections and evaluating them using optical microscopy and SEM.Knowledge of soldering processes, including reflow and selective soldering, line construction, process parameters, materials, and soldered parts' acceptability criteria.Proficient in IPC standards (IPC-A610, IPC-JSTD001, etc.) and related component standards (AEC-Q100, etc.).Strong background in statistical tools and IT tools, such as Office, CAD, and Mini-tab.Languages: Proficiency in English (high-level knowledge is mandatory).
Working Style and Methods: Strong analytical mindset and technical argumentation skills, especially in simultaneous engineering scenarios.
