Working supervisory role providing day-to-day service solutions of an assigned team and/or sub-contractors to ensure services are delivered in a safe, GMP compliant, and timely manner within budget. As a working supervisor this role will have both managerial and hands on calibration responsibilities. As a CBRE LIS Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising the day-to-day service solutions of a small team to deliver Laboratory Instrument Services in a GxP environment. The services will be delivered in a Quality Control Laboratory to a Pharmaceutical client manufacturing product. **What you’ll do** + Supervises, plans, directs, schedules and performs day-to-day and long-range activities for defined GMP Pharma Services scope, and ensures all programs and procedures to be delivered by the Pharma Services staff are being properly implemented. + Performs Installation, performance maintenance, troubleshooting, and qualification, of HPLC systems + Schedules instrument vendors to perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities + Reviews work orders to ensure compliance with GMP processes as defined by the client, performance, safety, statutory, and regulatory requirements, as well as with all company policies, standards, and procedures. + Reviews and updates LIS equipment, maintenance and calibration procedures, and LTS (Laboratory Technical Services) procedures to ensure compliance with GMP processes as defined by the client. + Processes performance metrics; tracks, analyses, and reports performance in terms of quality, safety, cost, and customer satisfaction. + Takes corrective action to bring about required change and ensures contract requirements have been executed at a level above the specified standards. + Manages contractor specifications, problems/issues, performance, and administration. + Ensures supply of spare parts and consumables for in-scope Pharma Services. + Performs other duties as assigned. **Supervisory responsibilities** Provides formal supervision to individual employees within single functional or operational area. Recommends staff recruitment, selection, corrective action and termination. Prepares and delivers performance appraisal for staff. Mentors and coaches team members to further develop competencies. Leads by example and models behaviors that are consistent with the company's values. **What you’ll need** + High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 5-8 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Prior shift management or supervisory experience preferred. + Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more. + The innovative mentality to develop methods that go beyond existing solutions. + Ability to solve unique problems using standard and innovative solutions having a broad impact on the business. + In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. + Expert organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset. + Highly sophisticated math skills. Ability to calculate somewhat complex figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
