Lab Operation Manager

Applied's Joint Lab for Applied Process Equipment Accelerator (APEX) aims to develop materials and components for semiconductor equipment, as well as new processes that maximize resource efficiency and minimize material waste in manufacturing. These innovations are targeted for Industry of Things (IoT), Communications, Automotive, Power and Sensors (ICAPS) markets, which are strategic growth areas for Applied Materials. The joint lab will also enable small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Singapore to support development of these solutions.

As a Lab Operations Manager, you will be performing key responsibilities listed below.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead a team of multi-disciplinary engineers, planner, and technicians to ensure day-to-day smooth operations of a semiconductor lab environment.

Manage lab tools startup, retrofit, PM, CIP, lab safety, lab security, customer demo, lab facility, logistic, vendors, purchasing and finance activities.

Provide direction and leadership to ensure lab operation KPI and KPU PDP schedule are met, enhancing delivery responsiveness.

Manage KPU AOP spending, budget, and support finance on government grant submission. 

Responsible for new facility cleanroom setup and equipment layout, material flow, manning planning and implementation to ensure efficient and productive use of resources in production.

Develop and execute KPU strategy project.

Requirements:

Min Degree in Engineering or equivalent

Min 5-8 years’ experience in semiconductor fab equipment module

Min of 3 years experience in managerial position

Experience in leading a team in semiconductor or manufacturing industry
