The SW Engineering Operations team is looking for an individual passionate about project and process management to join the team in our hardware distribution team. This role offers an opportunity to interact with many software teams and every individual on our team makes a clear difference to our end products.
**Description**
As a SW Engineering Lab Operations EPS, you will be responsible for: - Secure pick up, transport and storage of prototype and development hardware. - Performing regular audits of hardware lab. Leading initiation, planning and execution of hardware lab initiatives to increase team efficiency, process management and cost savings. - Providing great customer service to all supported engineering teams. - Distribution of hardware allocated to teams according to lab guidelines. - Utilizing engineering and technology knowledge to analyze, interpret and make deductions for hardware testing justifications and allocations. - Partnering with management and cross-functional teams for hardware inventory ordering. - Managing testing plans for lab hardware projects
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ Ability to lift and transport up to 50 pounds on occasion and up to 35 pounds regularly
+ Exceptional verbal and written communication

+ BS/BA or equivalent experience
+ 1 - 2 years project management experience in an engineering environment
+ Detail oriented with project management skills
+ Experience with the analysis of large and complex data sets highly desirable
+ Demonstrated decision making skills in an engineering environment
+ Self-motivated and proactive with creative and critical thinking capabilities
+ Excellent time management skills; you love to prioritize duties and responsibilities in order to be more effective
+ Proficient in Apple applications, including Numbers and Keynote

+ At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $46.80 and $78.05/hr, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
