Job Title: Laboratory Sales Specialist

Department: Laboratory

Reports To: Laboratory Supervisor

Location: Gillingham/Hybrid

Overview:

To be the front line support for our OneSchein strategy, making and receiving calls to drive and influence customers for our OneSchein Dental, Henry Schein and Laboratory brands. Generating sales and leads from customer prospects through inbound and outbound sales calls and managing growth of acquired customer for consumables and equipment. Follow quality control procedures to achieve both sales and gross profit targets.

Job Responsibilities:

The role holder will be expected to be responsible for the following:

Achieve objective when making calls to customers with relevant offers/enquiry details. Record and update customer database with relevant information.Make the required outbound calls for HSD LAB each day, building successful relationships with the customer.Assist the Inbound team by answering all incoming calls within 3 rings, in a polite friendly manner, introducing both the company and yourself.Achieve a high level of accuracy on all orders, Upsell and cross sell on every order to increase both size and order value.Where necessary achieve and exceed Sales, Gross Profit, Lost Call and KPI targets as set by the Line Manager.Process orders and enquiries following Quality Control Procedures.  Ensure that all quotations are dealt with recording the correct information and submitted by the deadline or on a timely basis.Carry out work willingly and well, receptive to new ideas and promote good atmosphere.Ensure that all communication to customers both written and verbal maintains a high standard both in presentation and content.Work as necessary to provide optimum cover to customers during office hours.  Attend staff meetings, training courses, exhibitions and seminars as required.Give support to team members, assist other departments as and when necessary.Be an enthusiastic team player at all times.  Participate in special projects and perform other duties as requiredMaintain a professional manner when making outbound calls, Identify and make contact with decision maker.Ensure that all reporting is done correctly and on a timely basis.

This role is extremely varied; therefore, the job description is not exhaustive and the role holder will be required to participate in other duties as required by the business.

Job Skills & Experience Required:

To succeed in this role, you will need the following:

Qualifications:

Sales and Dental/ LAB technician experience preferredEducated to a high standard or with experience of working in the healthcare or commercial sectorsHighly organised, able to work under pressure and detail orientatedAbility to use Microsoft applicationsPrevious office-based customer service/sales or Dental experience an advantage

Skill & Experience:

Be engaging and self-motivatedHave clear communication and excellent written/numeric skillsAptitude to develop commercial and business acumenDemonstrable drive to achieve the end result working equally well independently as part of a teamExcellent listening skills.Strong negotiation skills
