Job Description
Support development of a new product by modifying and maintaining prototype equipment and help develop procedures and documentation as needed in support of design and R&D activities which likely have little or no written procedures.
Responsible for preventative/corrective maintenance, trouble shooting, upgrades, and calibration on equipment in the applications lab.
Requires work using required Personal Protective Equipment which may include APR (Air Purifying Respirator) and/or SCBA (Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus) for safe handling of hazardous materials. Must be able to meet requirements for certification.
Works closely with and supports the Productivity, Process Development, Engineering, and R&D groups activities.
Support tool installs, retrofits, and documentation efforts.
Occasionally may help train Field Service Engineers, Engineering Technicians, other Laboratory Service Engineers, or Process Engineers from regional accounts.
This position can pay between $35.00-42.00/hr based on experience.

Skills and Requirements
- 3+ years of experience working in Field Support or Product Support roles within capital equipment companies
- Ability to think quickly on their feet and operate in a "startup" environment
- Experience with Helium leak checking or American vacuum association
- Electromechanical background preferred
- Hands on experience working with capital equipment
- Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
- NO JOB HOPPING - Previous military experience null
