LAB SERVICES COORDINATOR III POSITION MON-FRI, 8AM-5PM. REMOTE POSITION!
BACHELORS DEGREE IN A SCIENCE RELATED FIELD AND 5 YOE IN CLINICAL LABORATORY AND 3 YOE IN A CLINIC/PHYSICIAN OFFICE REQUIRED.
EXPERIENCE WITH EPIC AND LAB SURVEY INSPECTIONS A PLUS!
The NHMG Laboratory Services Coordinator III serves as team lead and is responsible for the development, implementation, and oversight of the laboratory services for NHMG Physician Office Labs (POL). They will also assist in the evaluation of new or modified techniques when required. They will advise and assist in the orientation and training of other team members on equipment and software as necessary. Demonstrates working knowledge of laboratory quality assurance. Audits and oversees lab services operations for designated clinics and/or markets. Serve as primary sources for connecting NHMG clinic team members with appropriate resources for lab services to include but not limited to Dimensions lab optimization, lab billing and reference lab to ensure compliance. Qualify as General Supervisor and Technical Consultant under CLIA 88 guidelines. Travel and reliable transportation required as the role will be expected to travel between clinics, markets and facilities.

Qualifications
+ Education: Bachelor's Degree, required. Bachelor's Degree in science related field from a recognized college or university accredited laboratory training program, required.
+ Experience: Minimum of five years of relevant laboratory tech and a minimum of three years experience in a clinic/physician office environment, preferred.
+ Licensure/Certification/Registration: MT/MLS Certification from ASCP or AMT, required. Valid drivers license, required.
+ Additional Skills/Requirements Required: All individuals certified ASCP beginning January 1, 2004 must participate and maintain ASCP Board of Certification (BOC) through the Certification Maintenance Program (CMP). All individuals who are certified AMT beginning January 1, 2006 must participate and maintain AMT Certification Continuation Program (CCP).
+ Additional Skills/Requirments Preferred: The ability to work and make decisions independently. Ability to prioritize and manage several job functions at one time. Ability to work efficiently and accurately. Detail-oriented and strong organizational skills. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally through listening, writing, talking, and reading. Ability to operate equipment at both sitting levels and/or standing levels. Ability to communicate via telephone, zoom, Lab Information System and verbally. Computer knowledge with emphasis on using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
